Pakistan Journal of Plant Pathology 2 (3), 157-160
Abstract: The experiment was conducted during 1996-97 and 1997-98 crop season with a view to determine the effectiveness of two systemic fungicides as seed treatment against late blight of potato caused by Phytophthora infestans. Potato seeds were used as whole and cut tuber and fungicides were applied on seed as dipping and spray. There were 10 treatments, each having three replications. Among the treatments, T1 (Whole+Ridomil dip.) appeared the best, which+ exhibited delaying on disease appearance, reduced foliage blight and increased yield significantly over control.
